Harvard Alumni for Education (Bay Area) Meet with Code Tenderloin

  • 144 Taylor street San Francisco, CA (map)

We will be hosting a Tenderloin Walking Tour and visit to CodeTenderloin with Del Seymour, famously known as "The Mayor of the Tenderloin." Mr. Seymoud runs a nonprofit called Code Tenderloin, which helps the formerly incarcerated, homeless and similarly marginalized residents of the community develop job readiness skills and find work.

We will be meeting with Mr. Seymour at Code Tenderloin to discuss his program before he takes us on a walking tour deep into the community. We will explore the rich history of the old Hibernia Bank, Gubbio Project, St. Anthony's, Tenderloin Museum, Cadillac Hotel, and many other destinations.

We hope this event will forge a deeper understanding and appreciation of one of the city's most underserved neighborhoods and provide you with the opportunity to meet one of San Francisco's most influential community organizers.
