Join us for a conversation with Octavio Lizama—Psychologist (Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile) and M.A. in Education Policy (Columbia University)—who has spent 25 years working at the intersection of education and vulnerability. His leadership journey spans TECHO, Centro de Políticas Públicas UC, Enseña Chile and Teach For All, consulting and research with UNESCO and the World Bank, and school leadership at Colegio Ayelén and Betterland School, where he currently serves as Executive Director & Rector. He also sits on the boards of Fundación Portas and Fundación Presente and is a Fulbright and Becas Chile fellow, recipient of the LED 2024 Award.
This session will also highlight his newly co-authored book, El Director Libre (The Free Principal)—a World Bank publication on how AI can free school leaders from paperwork to focus on instructional leadership.
